Vicar David D. Doellinger was born in Baltimore,
Maryland in 1980. He was baptized at St. James Lutheran Church
in Baltimore and attended school there until the 3rd grade.
He went to school at Bethlehem Lutheran Church
and was confirmed there.
In 1996, he family moved
to Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania
where his family currently lives.
In 1998, David graduated
from Baltimore Lutheran High School.
David attended Loyola College in Maryland
with an Army ROTC scholarship.
In 2002 He graduated from Loyola
with a B.S. in Biology/Theology.
That summer David began his studies at
Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
David got married to Melissa in May, 2004. She is a Deaconess
student and field worker at Trinity. Melissa is from Louisville, Nebraska.
In July, 2004 he began his year long vicarage at Trinity. David
will return to the Seminary in the Fall of 2005 for one more year of class.
Then he hopes to receive a call and be ordained as a pastor.
