Rev. Daniel G. Holthus was born in Alliance, Nebraska.
He has lived in Denver, Cheyenne, Laramie Rock Springs
and Powell. After graduating from the University of Wyoming
with a degree in Secondary Education,
Daniel started working for the Department of
Probation and Parole (now the Dept. of Corrections)
as a parole officer. Daniel married Debbie and they have
two children: Jeremiah and Devon. Daniel worked as
a parole officer, supervisor and administrator.
He served the department for over 20 years.
He then went to Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN.
His vicarage was in at Trinity in Rock Springs.
Daniel graduated and was called to Trinity in Rock Springs, WY.
During this time, He also served the vacancy in
Green River, WY. He served Rock Springs 4 years before he was
called to Trinity in Casper, WY. Debbie is the administrative
assistant at the WY-LCMS district office.
Their children are in High School.
